Need better ways to keep a dog’s diaper on? Whether your canine is incontinent or goes into heat, it is possible to keep an absorbent pad in place. After all, you don’t want blood, feces, and/or urine on furniture and floors. Dogs experience many of the same medical issues as humans, but it’s a little more challenging for obvious reasons. How do you keep a dog’s diaper in place? My son struggled with his four-legged family member before she was spayed. I researched the issue and found several great solutions.

What do Do if the Dog Won’t Cooperate

So, what do you do if the dog keeps taking the diaper off? Some will remove it with their teeth while others simply fall down when the animal walks, runs, and plays. The struggle is real! I was constantly fixing or replacing my son’s dog’s diapers, and she wouldn’t hold still. Sometimes she took it off, and other times it fell down by itself. They’re made with super strong fasteners that should stay on – if the dog left it alone, but you can’t reason with a canine. The solution I found is called a dog diaper keeper. It’s essentially a full-size thin but snug coat that works to solve the problem. We needed better ways to keep a dog’s diaper on, and it beats anything else we tried.

All people could do years ago was confine the animal to a room with a washable floor or keep their four-legged family member outside. At least now there are better ways to keep a dog’s diaper on.
