Milk Bag Pitcher That Doesn’t Splatter

Want a milk bag pitcher that doesn’t splatter? Before I had my new one I had to wipe the counter almost every time I poured it. The bag would shift, tilt, and made a huge mess. My daughter couldn’t use the old holder at all. Whoever designed the first one we had must not have realized how quality Canadian milk bag pitchers worked. Chances are they never even used one! Take a look at the one I found. My 8 year old daughter can pour it herself, and I haven’t had a single splatter or spill since I switched to this new one.

Do You Leave Your Milk Bag Open or Not?

I needed a milk bag pitcher that doesn’t splatter, but it also needed a lid. I also needed to figure out how to stop a milk bag from shifting in the pitcher. Some don’t mind having open containers in the fridge, but I like my milk and other dairy products sealed. No, my refrigerator isn’t dirty and I don’t usually store overly pungent food, but I like to keep it as fresh as possible. Leftover pizza, smoked salmon, and some of my other favourites can be a problem. Evaporation is another concern. I prefer a quality milk pitcher with a lid as opposed to one without a top of any kind. Milk is something I have to keep sealed because it shouldn’t taste like anything else.

What Makes a Top-Quality Canadian Milk Pitcher?

The decision to use a milk pitcher with or without a lid is a matter of personal preference. However, the bag should easily slide in, it shouldn’t shift, and it should hold the bag upright. If the bag tilts to one side the container is either too wide or it isn’t deep enough. My old milk pitcher was too short and caused the bag to tilt. I spilled it on the table and counter top many times. I wanted a dishwasher-safe plastic milk pitcher with a lid, and I took a chance on the one above. If you want a milk bag pitcher that doesn’t splatter it’s a phenomenal one. I love the style, and I’ve been very happy with mine.
