Ranch Dressing as Delicious as Restaurants
Looking for ranch dressing as delicious as restaurants? After having the thick, rich, and creamy kind, nothing less will do. You end up in a much higher salad dressing bracket. Suddenly the old bottled standby doesn’t measure up, and you begin a quest for the best brand available.
It’s Ranch Dressing That Tastes as Delicious as Restaurants
My favorite local steakhouse has the very best dips and condiments known to man (and woman too). It can turn an ordinary pile of lettuce, red cabbage, and shredded carrots into a gourmet side dish or meal. After all, it’s the toppings that complete it.
I wasn’t eating much salad at home because of a lack of really good ranch. I had tried about every brand imaginable. Kraft, Hidden Valley, Wishbone, Ken, and even Paul Newman weren’t cutting the mustard, at least not for me. I needed something to encourage me to eat more salad and raw veggies.
I stumbled across Uncle Dan’s completely by chance, and I knew it was a winner after the very first bite. If everyone tried it the Uncle Dan people wouldn’t be able to keep it in stock. It’s really that good, but I’m not worried about sharing my secret because I’ve stocked up!

What Do Restaurants Use? It Isn’t the Bottled Stuff!
When you find a really good restaurant quality ranch dressing, it isn’t coming from a bottle. Restaurants typically make their own because it saves money, and it’s much, much better.
How do restaurants make ranch dressing? The secret is whipped sour cream or mayo and a top-quality mix, and Uncle Dan’s is phenomenal!
Why the Calories Don’t Count
If you’re worried about calories you can use low-fat mayo or sour cream instead of the full-fat kind, and you can even substitute the richest creamiest base with low-fat cottage cheese. I’ve improved my diet by choosing healthier foods and lowering my carb intake, but I won’t skip on some things.
If my lettuce toppings had to be low-cal I’d never eat it. My bag of rabbit food would wilt and eventually spoil in the fridge. When I don’t have the right salad dressing and my other favorite toppings, that’s the way it goes.
It’s a shame to throw away food, and that’s why I wait until it turns into mush. If it weren’t for the label on the bag I wouldn’t know what it was!
Okay, I’m exaggerating a bit, but I really must have the right stuff or I won’t eat salad or raw veggies. My bagged lettuce would slowly wilt beyond use in the back of the veggie bin.
Trying a Dozen Brands before Finding the Right One
I went on a quest to find ranch dressing that tastes as delicious as restaurants, and I spent a lot of time and money in the process. I literally tried a dozen brands!
The way I see it is everything is okay in moderation, even the tastiest and richest ranch dressing mix available to humankind. My favorite is Uncle Dan’s since it’s ranch dressing as delicious as restaurants.
