The Internet Doesn’t Work When Netflix is On
I’m typing my latest blog post in Word right now because the Internet doesn’t work when Netflix is on. My husband decided to watch a movie tonight, and that leaves me with nothing to do. I need to finish my posts for today, and the only way to do that is offline. That’s okay. At least I can still work. I’ll send them in later after he goes to bed. I stay up for hours after everyone else is fast asleep. It’s the only time that I’m certain that I can work, and I can finish it in peace.
The Last Internet Package Update Didn’t Change Much
The Internet here was even worse than it is right now. Before my husband agreed to go with the next package, we couldn’t even go online at the same time. It was painfully slow. It’s still barely better than dial-up, but it’s the only option here. That’s one of the downfalls of living in a rural area. We can’t have DSL. We have to use satellite Internet, and it leaves a lot to be desired.
Now We’re Limited on Bandwidth Too
The first package that my husband subscribed to didn’t have a limit. Now that our speed is just a little higher, the Internet provider put a cap on our bandwidth usage. I don’t recall what it is, but it doesn’t matter. They’ll send an email should we get close to exceeding the limit. It hasn’t happened yet, but I’ve been watching lots of Netflix lately. It’s a good thing that no one in this house plays games. It would get eaten up even faster.
Paying a Much Higher Price for Very Little More
This higher priced service isn’t so wonderful. I should be able to use everything offered by our smart TV, but that won’t happen. I can’t watch YouTube or use any of the other movie apps. The Internet doesn’t work when Netflix is on. I’m surprised that we can watch anything with our service. It’s amazing that it works, even at a lower resolution. I can’t recommend our Internet provider to anyone, but it’s our only choice.
that is not suppose to be that way right
Really? My iflix needs internet. if my net is poor then it will slowly loading the vids. 🙁
It is strange how it works for Netflix, but not for browsing the Internet when Netflix is on. If my husband watches it, I can’t work online.
